More about Tom

What are your volleyball accomplishments as a player or coach?

One of my favorite coaching moments was winning conference in my first-year coaching JV at Homestead High School.

Your favorite part about coaching volleyball?

When coaching volleyball, it is always enjoyable watching players develop as the year goes on. I especially enjoy watching players go from being quiet and shy on the court to becoming a loud leader who excels in court communication.

Favorite VB memory?

My favorite volleyball memory has to be going to Reno, Nevada for club nationals when I was playing for UW-Milwaukee. Seeing such a high quantity of highly talented players from across the United States is very exciting for anyone who loves the game.

Why Wisconsin Premier Volleyball Club?

WI Premier VBC is filled with skilled, motivated and enthusiastic coaches. Being around coaches with those traits further motivates myself to be a better coach but also translates to great development within the players. I am looking forward to my first year at the club and the years to come watching the program continue to grow.

What do you do outside of volleyball?

Currently I am working full time at a chemical distillation company in Saukville, WI called Pope Scientific. When I am not working or coaching and the weather permits, you can find me on the golf course.
