Played volleyball all 4 years in high school: JV (2010/2011), Varsity (2011/2012, 2012/2013, 2013/2014). Spent 2 years playing both basketball and softball, in addition to volleyball.
My favorite part about coaching volleyball?
I’ve had many great coaches in my life that truly were the greatest teachers I could have had and they are, without a doubt, one of the reasons that I am the person that I am today – my favorite part about coaching is the opportunity to be that person for other young athletes. The greatest joy is being able to help develop players and give them the tools they need to hone their craft, but also see them become true leaders on and off the court.
Favorite VB memory?
There are so many favorites, but one of the most notable was finishing 5th at AAU Nationals in our division during my 18s season. One of the main reasons this was such a meaningful accomplishment was because at the end of my high school senior season I didn’t know if I was going to play again, due to a rotator cuff injury. Thankfully since I had great coaches I was equipped with the skills needed to successfully transition from a setter to defensive specialist for my final year of club, which made our success at AAU Nationals even more sweet.
Why Wisconsin Premier Volleyball Club?
Wisconsin Premier is filled with dedicated coaches that have created an environment that keeps top talent coming back year over year.
What do you do outside of volleyball?
I’m a B2B Marketing Professional with a passion for understanding what customers need to be successful. Like anything in life you need to surround yourself with great people and listen to their needs and ideas to achieve the best end results. When not playing volleyball I enjoy hiking and kayaking in the summer months, and the falls months are spent watching football and enjoying time with my family and friends.
