Experience
I have over 25 years of coaching experience in both Wisconsin, Alabama and California. I’ve coached several age groups from 5th graders to college players.
I was a 4-year Division 1 volleyball player at Auburn University, where I played Middle and Right-side. I still hold a top 10 all time career block record at Auburn, where I’ve held that honor for over 25 years. My collegiate coaching stints were at Samford University in Birmingham, AL, Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI and I’ve coached for several clubs and high school teams, including my Alma Mater, Wauwatosa East, where we were State Champions my senior year.
I have been coaching with Wisconsin Premier since it’s founding and when it was known as Mequon VB Club, which started in 2010.
I coach because I enjoy the interaction with the players and preparing the team for practices, games and tournaments. I also enjoy watching how my players mature and improve throughout the season. I really value the coach/athlete relationship and developing that relationship over the course of the season.
I look forward to an exciting season with lots of learning and good competition. In my free time I like to golf, workout and spend time with family and friends. Go Premier!
