Andrea brings a great amount of expertise on the defensive side of volleyball as she played libero D-1 volleyball at North Dakota State. In 2011, her 547 digs ranked third most in school single-season history. She averaged 4.41 digs per set which was sixth in the NDSU record book. Finished ninth in the Summit League stats with 4.53 digs per set in league play. Anchored a team defense that ranked 26th in the final NCAA Division I stats with 17.53 digs per set. She obtained double-figure dig totals in 31 of 35 matches including 15 straight to end the year. Career-high 27 digs in the five-set loss at Northern Iowa and was named to the Summit League Fall All-Academic Team as a Distinguished Scholar and to the Summit League Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.
She graduated in 2009 from Kettle Moraine Lutheran in Jackson, Wis. Three-year starter and four-year letterwinner. Three-time all-conference performer and named MVP as a senior in 2008. Two-time all-state honoree…Won a Division II state championship in 2007 … she also played basketball in high school.
