Mady Schmidt

Experience and Background
I have been involved in volleyball since the 4th grade, then played at West Aurora High School as well as club, and continuing to play competitively for 2 years at Concordia University Wisconsin. Following my passion for the sport, I wanted to start coaching and am now in my 3rd year as an assistant coach at Wisconsin Premier!

Coaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy revolves around building strong relationships and fostering team unity. I believe that when players feel connected and supported, they perform at their best both individually and as a team. My goal is to help each girl improve her skills and achieve her personal best, creating an environment where everyone can succeed.

Achievements
Throughout my coaching career, I have been proud to witness the growth and development of my players, both on and off the court. While specific achievements are important, I find the most joy in seeing the positive impact I can have on the lives of the athletes I coach.

Personal Touch
Outside of volleyball and coaching, I am pursuing a dual major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Concordia University Wisconsin, with plans to graduate in December. In my downtime, I enjoy staying active by playing in volleyball leagues and spending quality time with my friends, which helps me recharge and stay connected with all parts of my life!
