University School Head Coach for 33 seasons.
Wisconsin Premier since 2015.
G-Force and Intensity VBC prior.
Played college volleyball at Concordia University St. Paul.
Coaching Philosophy
Over the years I believe the following philosophies shape the way I coach:
- Player development over record. Yes, winning is important but developing a player both mentally and physically is more important.
- Teamwork over individual recognition. Building team cohesion is important. Girls need to play together as a group and not be focused on themselves as individuals.
- Empower self-confidence. It is my goal to develop confidence in an athlete.
- Coach as mentor: I see myself as a mentor as well as a coach. I want to offer the girls guidance in all aspects of their lives.

NFHS Accredited Interscholastic Volleyball Coach
First aid or CPR certification: Red Cross Instructor/ Red Cross Certified
Achievements
Many tournament wins, 2nd place finish at National Qualifier. Have taken 6 teams to the National Tournament.
Personal Touch
Outside of the game, I love to read, travel to National Parks in the United States and spend time with my family. I have the privilege of coaching at both the high school and club levels with my daughter, Amber.
